FragMetriX is a pioneering software solution for automatic particle size distribution analysis
of fragmented rock.

As the first fully automated fragmentation analysis tool for photogrammetric 3D models, FragMetriX combines advanced 3D spatial and 2D image analysis to assess entire muck pile surfaces in one go. Ideal for quarry blasting, underground mining, tunneling, and the documentation and quality control of dams and rip-raps, FragMetriX delivers precise, efficient analysis with minimal manual input.

FragMetriX Provides

Fragmentation Analysis

FragMetriX enhances fragmentation analysis with fully automated computation of fragmented rock, combining 3D modeling and surface analysis. Results are promptly presented in particle size distribution plots and as individually delineated particles on both the 3D model and corresponding ortho-photo.

Blast Optimization

FragMetriX plays a crucial role in optimizing blast designs by integrating seamlessly with the Commander module. This integration facilitates the collection of fragmentation data, supports quality control, and enables reproducible improvements in blast designs based on specific site needs.
